Our story
La Mesa Mesquite Grill opened its doors on Main Street to bring real, made-from-scratch Tex-Mex to Joshua. Our menu is built around the dishes our families have cooked for generations — chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce, hand-breaded chili rellenos, brisket tamales topped with chili con carne, and tacos al carbon grilled over open mesquite flame.
We make our sauces — chili con carne, red chili, green chili, sour cream, La Mesa, and queso — in-house every week. Our salsa and chips, our creamy jalapeño dip, our borracho beans: all made here. Sit down, order a margarita, and stay a while.
